The Bernie Sanders NYC March in Pictures

Following are some images from today’s #MarchforBernie held in New York City. The rally began at Union Square at 3:00 and marched down to Zucotti Park on Wall Street starting at 4:00. While I haven’t found any estimates it seems that ~5000 people participated. When marching, the crowd stretched as far as the eye could see north and south along Broadway. The crowd was full of individuals representing the fabric of American society: youth, blacks, whites, Jews, retirees, educators, Latinos and more. These images capture micro moments of the day, including signage, puppets, emotions, energy and passion.
